Tree foundation marks 25 years with two great events

As part of its “Silver Anniversary Celebration,” the Savannah Tree Foundation is offering two interesting events. First is a lecture at the Coastal Georgia Center called “Trees: Growing Stronger and Healthier Communities,” by Dr. Kathleen Wolf of the University of Washington. That happens Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.On Wednesday morning at 8:30, Dr. Wolf will present “Trees and Urban Streets: Research on Public Perceptions and Transportation Safety” at the Metropolitan Planning Commission.
