The Georgia Department of Transportation seeking public comments on IT3. What’s IT3? I’m glad you asked.

IT3 is designed to bring the Department of Transportation, Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, the General Assembly, local partners and the executive branch together to formulate strategies that will improve transportation infrastructure throughout the state.

Those who think think transit, bikeways and sidewalks should be a bigger part of the state transportation plan can use the comment form located here to make their views known. Or, if a more personal approach is preferred, make plans to talk with GDOT Comissioner Gina Abraham when her listening session tour stops in Savannah later this month.
