I'm interested in keeping chickens on Tybee Island. Does anyone know if others are doing so? Also, what's the problem with rodents? I heard this once before, but don't see the connection.

John, I am uber-interested in getting the skinny on the urban chicken. I believe it was you yourself, probably about a year ago, who informed me that my neighborhood may well be zoned in favor of chicken-keeping. I believe there may be a restriction on the lot size necessary, which likely prohibits me, as those of us in the eastern part of the neighborhood don't celebrate quite the property expanses of the western end. Still, keep me posted on any verification or refutation of the law!
