Thanks John Bennett for writing about Skidaway Island State Park and showing that the community is worried about Savannah's great resource and what the future holds for it. As the Park Manager we definitely have concerns for the future of our department, but we are have a positive outlook for the park and its future. With relation to the pool, we are continuing with our winter maintenance as if we are opening next year until we hear otherwise. Thanks so much for your support and letting people know about the great volunteer opportunities here. If anyone has any further questions please feel free to contact the park and we will be glad to answer them.
