Trail funding applications now available

Goodwin, state bicycle and pedestrian coordinator at the Georgia Department of Transportation, reports that recreational trails program funding application is now available online through the Department of Natural Resources Web site. National Public Lands Day at Fort Pulaski

[ September 29, 2007; 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. ] Registration begins at 7 a.m. Volunteers will work on the McQueen’s Island Rail Trail and additional projects at Fort Pulaski from 8 a.m. until noon. Participants will receive a t-shirt. For more information is available here.
